Clear Skin Diet

Clear skin, it just sounds lovely, right? It's harder said than done for most. For you girls with flawless skin, I applaud you. Being in the beauty industry, you'd think I have all the answers, and have gorgeous, dewy and flawless skin right? Wrong! I've been in a chronic struggle with acne, hormonal breakouts, and acne scarring ever since I was 12-13 years old. My skin has drastically improved over time, and a lot of my scarring has cleared, for the most part. I still tend to break out around my period, which is due to hormonal fluctuation. I've always had an enlarged thyroid as well, which could be apart of the problem, but the doctors aren't entirely sure. Over the years I've tried everything, from Pro Activ to Neutrogena (and everything in between) After finding a system that works for me (I will be going over my skincare routine very soon in a later post!) I have come to the big conclusion: Your breakouts can tell you a lot about your overall health. What you put into your body is extremely important, think about it..... What you put into your body sustains you, gives you energy, and help to replenish and rejuvenate you. What you eat tends to have a direct impact on how your skin can look. In this post I will be sharing my favorite "Clear Skin Foods." I promise if you incorporate these foods into your diet, your skin will be radiant, and you will see a big different in your skin.
