Sephora Haul & New Favorites

Hello lovelies! I haven't done a "Sephora Haul" in a long time - because I work at Sephora...duh! I rarely ever buy anything due to all the freebies we receive, but this week, I had a ton of store credit to spend (due to returning a few skincare products that severely irritated my skin!) So, what did I do? I went shopping! Nothing too exciting here, I just needed to stock up on some everyday basic necessities. Every trip to Sephora is never just a quick trip for me, even if it's to a different location,  I could easily spend hours wandering around, swatching lipsticks, and just having fun. This particular trip to Sephora I was in and out, I knew exactly what I needed, but I still ended up spending at least thirty minutes in the store, and yes, that's a short trip for me! Today I'm sharing with you the few things I purchased last week at Sephora.

Sephora Haul & New Favorites

Bare Minerals Deluxe Original Foundation & NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer

Lately, my skin has been a total wreck. Between wearing makeup five days out of the week, and being inconsistent with my skincare,  my skin was desperate for a change. As much as I LOVE my NARS All Day Luminous Foundation, I needed something more skin friendly, even if it's only for a few days out of the week. I purchased an old favorite, Bare Minerals Original Foundation. For years, I was always a Bare Minerals girl. That's practically all I ever wore. And for good reason: 1. It's all natural 2. It has SPF 3. It's perfect for acne-prone skin. I never used to have any issues with this foundation, so I though I would give it a try again. What I love about this foundation is, even though it's a powder, it's not thick, or heavy like your traditional powder. It blends beautifully into the skin, and leaves a beautiful, luminous finish. I've received so many compliments on my skin since using this, and I'm in love again. My skin has calmed down quite a bit, and seems a bit happier in result. I also picked up a concealer I hadn't used before. Again, I'm obsessed with any product from NARS, so I knew I needed to try their concealer. I had been out of concealer for the past six had been that long since I purchased something, isn't that crazy? I quickly swatched the concealer on my jawline, and practically ran to the register to get home and try this out. I had used this concealer about a million times on clients, but never myself, so I knew I had to get it. Within my first use, I was hooked! I loved the creamy consistency, and how it just melted so nicely into my dry skin. I loved the way it looked under my eyes, how it brightened up any darkness I had. This concealer was definitely one of my best purchases so far.

Drybar Detox Dry Shampoo

I'm constantly checking because, well, it's my job. And honestly... I love it. I love being able to stay up to date on all the latest, hottest products out on the market. The other day, we received a box in shipment that included a bit of hair care. Being a hairdresser, I tend to only shop at my supply shops, because of the big discount. When I saw this cute, light blue bottle, something told me I just had to try it. I quickly grabbed our IPad and researched the product, read the reviews and instantly knew I had to test it. My hair that day was dirty, and curly, the perfect canvas to test out dry shampoo. I applied the shampoo at the roots of my hair, waited thirty seconds and then vigorously worked my fingers through my hair. I was instantly amazed, my hair smelled amazing, had way more body, and looked clean. I instantly fell in love and bought it within that day of trying it. I will definitely be doing a more in-depth review of this product soon!

Korres Greek Yoghurt Foaming Cream Cleanser

I just recently ran out of my all time favorite cleanser: Fresh Soy Facial Cleanser, and was desperate for a new one. We had previously received a mini version of this cleanser in gratis, and I quickly fell in love with it. This cleanser is super creamy, and easily whisks away any trace of makeup. I love how gentle it is on my highly sensitive, acne-prone skin. The smell is delicious, and it's gentle enough for day and nighttime use. Korres has quickly become one of my favorite brands at Sephora because of its potent ingredients, and delicious smells. I was so happy to finally pick up this cleanser because you get a ton of product for the price.

What are some of your most recent purchases from Sephora? I'd love to hear!
