My Top 3 Eyeliners + Why You Need Them

Some days call for a little extra edge, what better way to amp up your look with an eyeliner and mascara! Lets be real for a second, I have a million eyeliners, from cream, liquid, and pencil...and in a million colors! Do I wear them everyday? honestly, no. I'm too lazy for that to be honest. It's a little different when I'm working, I kind of have to try to look good. On my days off my extent of makeup is mascara, because it's just so important to let your skin breathe. I will say, if worn correctly, eyeliner can enhance your eye shape. One thing I can not stand is when people line their lower lash line. It's a little different if it's on the waterline, but if you just line that bottom line, it just isn't flattering - on anyone. Again, it's all about HOW you wear it, where you put it, ect. For me, I almost never use anything on my lower lash line, just a little mascara, and it makes a world of a difference. I'm definitely a huge fan of cat eye's and winged liner (essentially the same thing but different) Today I'm talking about my three favorite eyeliners and how I use them

My Top 3 Favorite Favorite Eyeliners + Why You Need Them

Marc Jacobs Highliner Gel Eye Crayon

I was first introduced to this eyeliner two years ago, when Sephora had a Marc Jacobs birthday gift. It came with an eyeliner and mini lipstick, and honestly...I was HOOKED instantly! I love this eyeliner because it's a mix between a gel and a cream, so it glides on smoothly, without any harsh tugging. I'm also obsessed with the fact that it comes in so many gorgeous shades, and it's retractable, so you don't have to fuss with a sharpener. I would highly recommend this eyeliner to the girl who needs an eyeliner that stays in place, and doesn't budge. It's so easy, and so full proof really anyone can use it. It's also a great eyeliner for your waterline, because of the gel like texture, it's not at harsh as normal liners.

Make Up For Ever Aqua XL Eyeliner

Firstly, MUFE is my favorite brand, hands down! They always have the most pigmented makeup, with a variety of foundation shades. I love their aqua xl liners because they're waterproof, and super creamy like the Marc Jacobs. The best thing about these liners, is how richly pigmented they are. MUFE was actually created by painter, so obviously her makeup has to be excellent. I love the variety of shades in these liners, they have everything from white, all the way to pale yellow. You do have to sharpen these pencils, but they're super soft, so there is no harsh tugging whatsoever when it comes to these liners. I would highly recommend this to the girl that needs a waterproof liner in a variety of shades that wont smudge or run.

Kat Von D Tattoo Liner

My obsession with all things Kat Von D truly stems from this tattoo liner. KVD is a total badass, who knows exactly what she wants, especially when it comes to her makeup products. She wanted a liquid liner so ultra fine that she could draw stars on her face (like her tattoos!) and that is exactly what you can do with this liner. I'm definitely OBSESSED with this liner. It's a super fine liquid liner that is so easy to use, anyone can do it. I've used so many liquid liners, and I still go back to this one every single time. I love how easy it is to create a super fine eyeliner look, or even a sharp winged liner. This pen is so versatile and can be used for whatever look your trying to achieve. I would highly recommend this to the girl that needs a liquid liner that will not come off- whatsoever- and wants to create a precise winged liner type of look.

What are your favorite eyeliners? How do you use them? I'd love to hear!
