Monday Mantra - a mini series dedicated to Mondays
Hello lovelies and happy Monday! I've decided to begin a new series on my blog called, "Monday Mantras" Mondays are a day everyone seems to dread and I decided I wanted to help everyone kick it up a notch. Mondays are days we're all feeling a little overwhelmed, drained, and a little wound up...so why not try to tweak the way we view Mondays? Every Monday I will be posting a motivational quote, a mantra if you will -to help not just myself, but others get and stay motivated, to help mantain focus, and get us thinking about our goals and aspirations. I'v chosen to begin this new series on my blog because I'm ready to get inspired, and help others in the process.
This weeks Monday Mantra....
This past week has been one hell of a roller coaster - only in the best of ways. A big dream of mind came true last week, literally the very second I hit the publish button on my first "monday mantra" post.. I received a call that changed a big part of my future, something I had always wanted and worked so hard for. I was stunned, shocked, in awe of what had happened. It made me realize something: I made that happen. It's incredibly important to goal set, and dream big, and make sure your aspirations scare the hell out of you. I must admit, I'm a big dreamer, I have so many goals for myself, big and small. I don't care that others think some of my dreams/wishes are crazy and far fetched, because I'm betting to some, they aren't all that crazy. One of my biggest goals I set for myself in my early years was to grasp a higher education, and even though I was told I would drown in debt, that it would be a complete waste of my time, I pushed myself, and I succeeded. I made it happen, regardless of what people said, I followed through. Now I'm in a career field that I love, making one hell of a statement to those that didn't believe in the beauty of my dreams. It's very crucial to your soul to make the things you want the most happen. Each week I goal set, and ask myself what I need to do in order to make those things happen. You have to ask yourself the important questions, and make a plan to make it all happen
I challenge all of you to pick your own Monday mantra, and let it simmer with you. Let it allow you to analyze your choices, thoughts and actions. If you're feeling brave, share it with someone, heck even share it with me. Whatever you choose, I hope it's beautiful.
