Monday Mantra - Be Who You Want to Be
Hello lovelies and happy Monday! I've decided to begin a new series on my blog called, "Monday Mantras" Mondays are a day everyone seems to dread and I decided I wanted to help everyone kick it up a notch. Mondays are days we're all feeling a little overwhelmed, drained, and a little wound up...so why not try to tweak the way we view Mondays? Every Monday I will be posting a motivational quote, a mantra if you will -to help not just myself, but others get and stay motivated, to help mantain focus, and get us thinking about our goals and aspirations. I'v chosen to begin this new series on my blog because I'm ready to get inspired, and help others in the process.
This weeks Monday Mantra....
Let me just start of by saying.....
Your life, your body, your career and your self confidence...it's okay if they're all a work-in-progress.
You are allowed to not have your shit together just yet... and you are allowed to be perfectly imperfect. What you shouldn't allow yourself to do is to constantly be wishing you were a different version of yourself... you know that 3.0 version of yourself you're constantly holding yourself to. Ask yourself this....Who do I want to be? Where do I want to be? Where do I see myself in a few years?
To my readers and fellow friends, why not stop wishing you were that 3.0 version of yourself and become her?
From one human being to another, you are capable and destined to do great things. Stop getting frustrated because your life doesn't look how you want it to. Stop the negativity, the self doubt, the "what ifs" Don't look at the flower next to you and compare yourself, just bloom. It's so important in this life to become all that you want to. Become that 3.0 version woman you so strongly want to be. Do whatever it takes and don't stop until you're proud of the person you've become.
On a different note, it's perfectly fine to embrace the uncertainty. Let it allow you to lead you into the unknown. If you're not sure where you're headed, what you want to do for the rest of your life, or who the person you want to become...that's perfectly okay. We're all on a journey and everyone is different. Let life mold and shape you into the beautiful person you are destined to become, while keeping a steady grip on the wheel.
I challenge all of you to pick your own Monday mantra, and let it simmer with you. Let it allow you to analyze your choices, thoughts and actions. If you're feeling brave, share it with someone, heck even share it with me. Whatever you choose, I hope it's beautiful.
