How to Pamper Yourself Without Breaking the Bank

I firmly believe self care is the highest form of self love. When we practice self care, we're indirectly telling our mind, body and spirit that we love and appreciate our bodies and everything that it can do. I must say, treating yourself comes in many forms some may splurge on an expensive handbag they've been eyeing, while others like me, like to pamper themselves. And cheaply. Because, lets be real, whenever we hear "treat yourself" it typically means buying something expensive. Today I'm giving you a list of things you can do to pamper yourself, without breaking the bank.

How to Pamper Yourself Without Breaking the Bank

  • Give yourself a mani/pedi at home (no tip required!)
  • Make a DIY body scrub and add a peppermint essential oil into the mix and give yourself a good scrub down.
  • Wash your pillowcases, sheets and blankets and then curl up in the warmth of your clean bedding.
  • Buy your meal, put your favorite music on and treat yourself to dinner and a movie.
  • Throw on your favorite face mask, and deep condition your hair at the same time.
  • Put your favorite lounge wear on and curl up with your favorite book.
  • Indulge in a hot bath, loaded with your favorite bath salts, or treat yourself to a bath bomb from Lush.
  • Take time to slather your body in a moisturizing lotion.
  • Practice a new makeup look and take fun pictures.
  • Create a new board on pinterest of "all things cozy" to inspire your next "treat yo self night"
  • Light your favorite candles and practice deep breathing.
  • Quite your mind with light stretching and yoga.
  • Bake, anything and everything. Try a new recipe.
  • Ask your spouse for a foot rub (you can't get any better than that!)
  • Hit up your local library and pick up that novel you've been dying to read.
  • Throw your favorite blanket in the dryer, then snuggle up to the warmth and sip hot tea.
  • Invite your girlfriends over for a spa night at home

What are your favorite inexpensive ways to treat yourself? I'd love to hear!
