12 Things to Do When You're Having an "Off" Day


I believe we all have bad days, or "off days" from time to time. Every day is not meant to be your best day, or full of happiness. We are all destined for some rough patches now and then. What we all need to realize is that we're all human and than these things happen. We need to learn to ride out the storm and embrace those not so great moments. 12 Things to Do When You're Having an "Off" Day

  1. Blog, write, draw, grab an adult coloring book and just vent and get it out of your system. 
  2. Call your best friend, or whoever is a great listener and speak your mind.
  3. Make it a point to get in a good laugh. it will instantly lift your spirits.
  4. Do something fun, and non-stressful. Whatever you consider fun, do it
  5. Take time for yourself, have a spa day at home: deep condition your hair, throw on a face mask and paint your toes.
  6. Hit the gym, or get some sort of exercise and sweat it out. 
  7. Step outside and get some fresh air. I love sitting on my patio and just taking in all the sights and smells when I'm feeling the weight of the world on my shoulders.
  8. Go somewhere quiet and practice deep breathing.
  9. Switch off from technology and be alone with yourself to really get to the root of the problem at hand. 
  10. Allow yourself to have a meltdown and have a good cry session. 
  11. Immerse yourself in a good book, and make sure to switch off your cell phone to fully be present in the moment. 
  12. Remind yourself that you're human and you're aloud to have an "off day."
