30 Easy Lifestyle Changes for a Happier Life

  1. Cut soda our of your life - I swear years ago when I finally called it quits, my tummy as a whole has become flatter, and less puffy.
  2. Drink more water - I infuse my water with cucumber & mint and that has helped me drink more water throughout my day. If I'm headed to work, I fill my water bottle and take it wherever I go. 
  3. Meal Prep - This has significantly changed my life. As a whole, I'm going out to eat less, and eating healthier as a whole.
  4. Stock your home with healthy snacks - When temptation for fatty foods hit, you'll have no choice but to eat healthy. It's as simple as that. 
  5. Sip herbal tea - This is something I've recently started doing nightly. I'm hooked on Yogi Honey Lavender Stress Relief Tea. I love my quite time, sipping tea at the end of the night.
  6. Stretch often - It releases the tension and gets your blood flowing, who doesn't benefit from that?
  7. Eat slowly - Enjoy your food and savor each bite, you'll become fuller quicker.
  8. Create a positive morning routine - I have an entire post dedicated to this subject, check it out!
  9. Practice self love - Don't be your own worst enemy. Compliment and admire your own beauty every single day.
  10. Compliment others - Always spread the love, it will inspire you to love yourself more.
  11. Get your heart rate up at least a few times a week - The gym is my safe haven, it's where I go to show my body the love it deserves. Beat stress and hit the gym.
  12. Stop waiting for the "perfect moment" - Be spontaneous, and courageous and just do it. Hey, I moved cross country on a whim!
  13. Stop living in the past - Don't waste your time, or dwell over the "should haves" it's okay to analyze and grow from it, but know when it's time to move on.
  14. Let go of others perception of you - Know yourself, know your worth, as Drake would say.
  15. Set goals - Smash them, and become your own version of success. 
  16. Always do something that scares you - Again, I moved cross country, scared shitless. You have to leap, and take risks, it's what life is all about. 
  17. Do things you enjoy - Do it, and do it for yourself. Make time to partake in activities you truly enjoy. 
  18. Judge less - You have no clue what someones been through, period. 
  19. Stop comparing - No one else is you, and that is beautiful.
  20. Dance, and often - I'm not a big dancer myself, but it almost always puts a smile on your face.
  21. Switch off from technology - Be present, and smell the fresh air. 
  22. Stop worrying - About the things you can't control. Just let it go. Live, be present.
  23. Listen to the music you enjoy - Dance, sing in your car and be happy.
  24. Cut out negativity - Rid your life of negativity, including toxic relationships.
  25. Tell your friends and family that you love them - Share your feelings. 
  26. Be honest - Be honest with yourself, always.
  27. Treat yourself - You work hard, girl. Just do it. 
  28. Be mindful - Keep your eyes open.
  29. Laugh often - Even if it's a crappy day, you need to laugh. 
  30. Remember life is about being happy, so do whatever it takes to get yourself there.
